Founder and president of KHI Design, Kim Harley offers more than 30 years of specialized experience in hospitality design. Her passion for design is evident in the devotion and attention to detail she brings to each project. Kim’s diverse background in both interior architecture and design enables her to implement projects from the initial design concept to the coordination and supervision of the construction to ensure that the design intent is maintained. Keeping abreast of the latest innovations in technology, materials and products allows Kim to design for maximum functionality, providing each client personal, responsive and inspired design solutions. Kim’s extensive experience in commercial design enables her to assist clients in establishing budgets from the onset and work within those budget constraints to create a successful project.
Prior to forming KHI Design, Kim served as project manager and designer for hospitality design firms Wilson & Associates and Concepts 4, Inc. During that time she was responsible for a wide array of award winning hospitality projects, both domestically and internationally. Kim earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1988 from the acclaimed School of Architecture and Interior Design at the University of Cincinnati.
